Good morning. Just wanted to let you know that the opening night of the exhibition went really, really well. We had a very good turnout and the hall was full of guests. Your people were extremely well organized, as usual and took care of everything, which really set our minds at rest. I had lots of great comments about the food and the service from several guests, as well as from my colleagues themselves, and everyone was really pleased. So, thank you so very much for your help in all this.
Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent food that you provided us in our two orders. Happy New Year.

Mr Friggieri took over the running of Busy Bee in 1974 from his father Ċensu and from a humble confectionery he managed to make Busy Bee one of the leading confectioneries and catering establishments, later acquiring Villa Mdina in 1987.

Geoffrey has been involved in the confectionery since childhood, learning the skills of pâtissier, and he has practically gone through all the jobs in the kitchen. Apart from co-running Busy Bee together with his brother Brian, Geoffrey still prides himself in producing seasonal confections and fine chocolates.

Brian has had an early hands-on induction to the skills needed in confectionery and has gone through all the jobs. His current position is that of a director and follows a management by example philosophy. Brian is also personally involved in the production of specialised confections like the renowned Busy Bee panettone and the gelato.

Diane manages the Busy Bee office, taking care of financial matters of the company that boasts a workforce of forty-four employees. She also helps her two brothers by giving advice when necessary, such as when new products or fine packaging are to be introduced. During the very busy seasons, such as Christmas time, she also lends a hand in the Coffee Shop.

Roderick has been managing the outside catering operations of Busy Bee for the last 20 years. His role also involves discussing specific function requirements with the customers, giving his advice on the set-up of the reception, choice of savouries and other minute details that make each reception a unique event.

Neil is the bubbly and energetic manager of the busy Coffee Shop. A relative newcomer to the Busy Bee management team, he has adopted a ‘leading by example’ approach to motivate the staff to give the best possible service to the discerning and loyal customers.
